The 2022 Nationwide Parasport Federation Elections are scheduled to be held in Abuja on Friday, July 15, 2022, 4 months after their dissolution.

Director of Press and PR Mohammed Manga revealed this in a press launch on Tuesday.

The Minister for Youth and Sports activities Improvement, Mr. Sunday Dare, had dissolved the boards of seven Para Sports activities Federations on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, after their four-year time period expired on February 27, 2022.

The federations that have been dissolved have been Amputee Soccer, Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting, Para Soccer, Sitting Volleyball, Para Swimming and Wheelchair Basketball.

“In its dedication to conducting a free, honest and credible election to the boards of administrators to manipulate the affairs of the unions, the Ministry has due to this fact made joint efforts to design a timeline for the conduct of the elections, together with the Electoral Structure and Boards of Attraction.
